With its quick suppression of fire, Aqueous Film Forming Foam Concentrate offers superior burn-back performance, superior drain type, and low application rates.

Hydrocarbon and fluorocarbon surfactants combined with different solvents and preservatives make up AFFF's makeup. It creates a fast-moving vapour-sealing coating that covers the fuel surface and puts out fires right away. There are two varieties of AFFF: Type 3% and Type 6%.

The class of fire that the extinguisher is effective against is represented by the letters:

  • Class B Fire: extinguish fires involving flammable liquids, solvents, oil, gasoline, paints, lacquers, and other oil-based products.
  • Class C Fire: extinguish fires involving flammable gases like LPG and other gases.
